About the Role:
Mason Security Protective Services is looking for a dedicated and professional Armed Security Officer to join our team in Miami, FL. Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned premises to deter, detect, and respond to security threats or suspicious activity
- Provide armed protection for clients, personnel, and property at designated posts
- Monitor surveillance systems, access control points, and security checkpoints
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and alarms
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Enforce client site rules, regulations, and access control procedures
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Requirements:
- Valid Florida Class G (Armed Security Officer) license required
- Valid Florida Class D (Security Officer) license required
- Prior 2 years experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military preferred
- Strong firearms proficiency and adherence to safe weapon handling protocols
- Excellent observation, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
